What if the event is canceled due to weather, do I get a refund?


Unfortunately no. If weather is the cause for a cancellation, then there will be no refunds given. The tournament must still pay for the facility, officials, directors, awards, liability insurance, medical staff, security, any special appearances etc. Therefore, all parties are at risk when it comes to weather related issues.




How does the age cut off work?


The age cut off for most of the tournaments on this tour is based off of birthyear. Whatever birthyear you were born in will be the division you would play in. For example, if you were born in 2009 you would play in our 10U division (10 years of age or under) meaning that most players on this year's tour will be turning 10 at some point in the calendar year.




What is the NFL FLAG Bowl?


NFL FLAG and National Flag Football (NFF) are teaming up to bring flag football athletes a new, one-of-a-kind experience. This year, the NFF Road to Tampa will lead to the NFL FLAG Bowl hosted by Reigning Champs Experiences around Super Bowl LV on January 29-31.




Is this event only for NFL FLAG Leagues?


The NFL FLAG Bowl will be open to ALL flag football teams, including non-NFL FLAG Participants. All teams will get access to Super Bowl activities, flag football swag, and more!




Will I get a full refund if the tournament is canceled due to Covid-19?


Yes, if the tournament is cancelled due to Covid-19, you will receive a full refund for the registration fee that you have paid. Please keep in mind, that we will not refund any expenses that you may incur for travel. Please ensure you check with your travel agents to understand your policy options.




Is this replacing the NFL FLAG Championships at Pro Bowl?


Due to the cancelation of the 2021 NFL Pro Bowl game, the 2021 NFL FLAG Championships at Pro Bowl will no longer take place.. However, in future years the NFL FLAG Championships at Pro Bowl will continue, starting with the 2022 Pro Bowl in Las Vegas.




Is this replacing the NFF Championships?


This year, NFL FLAG and National Flag Football (NFF) are teaming up so that the Road to Tampa ends at the NFL FLAG Bowl - a new, one-of-a-kind experience for all flag football teams. In future years, NFF will continue to run their tournament circuit in addition to the NFL FLAG Tournament Series.




How are teams selected to attend the event?


This event is open to all flag football teams. There is no qualification necessary, and no selection process.




If I earned a bid to the NFF Championships, will I be able to use that bid for the NFL Flag Bowl?


Yes! If you won a bid in a previous NFF Affiliate Tournament, your bid will be honored for the 2021 NFL FLAG Bowl.




Will the NFL be involved in the event?


Yes! This event is tied to the Super Bowl and will feature guest appearances, access to Super Bowl activities, swag and more!




Is this event tied to the Super Bowl?


Yes! The event will be run one week prior to the Super Bowl and will bring the same excitement, look and feel to the youth tournament space.




What rulebook will be used at NFL FLAG Bowl?


An NFL FLAG Bowl rulebook will be created which will be a combination of the NFF Tournament rulebook and NFL FLAG rulebook. The rulebook will be posted as soon as it is available.




What age divisions are represented at NFL FLAG Bowl?


6u Coed, 7u Coed, 8u Coed, 9u Coed, 10u Coed, 11u Coed, 12u Coed, 13u Coed, 15u Coed, 14u Boys, 17u Boys, 10u Girls, 12u Girls, 14u Girls, 17u Girls




Are we allowed to wear our own Custom Jerseys?


No, we will provide you with an NFL Team Jersey at no extra charge.




Are we allowed to wear custom flags?


No, we will provide every player with an official NFL FLAG Belt at no extra charge.




Is the NFL Flag Bowl stay to play?


Yes! Upon registration you will be required to sign an agreement indicating that you will utilize hotels approved for this tournament. You will be required to show proof of your stay, and RC Experiences will be verifying your stay with our hotel partners to ensure that all teams are following event requirements.




What happens if we already booked flights, cars and hotels?


Most organizations are willing to make changes to flights/hotels due to COVID. Please try to change your travel arrangements! If you are unable to do so, please reach out to us: events@rcxexpereinces.com




Will the registration fee for this event be the same as the NFF Championships?


Yes. The pricing will remain the same for the event.




If we already registered, do we need to re-register?


No, as long as every player and coach is able to acknowledge a new waiver.




Will coaches need to be certified?


Yes. Waivers, Background Checks and Safety Training will be required for all coaches. We will follow up with all coaches with information on how to complete this process, deadlines, etc.




Are we allowed to bring and play with our own footballs?


No, we will provide all teams with NFL FLAG footballs to use for the event.




What if I want to stay at a hotel not offered by your hotel group?


This is a STAY TO PLAY event for all teams and players traveling outside of a 75-mile radius from their primary residence.

If you opt-out of staying at one of our properties, a $600 team fee will be assessed. This fee must be paid before your team will be able to compete in the NFL FLAG Bowl.

Please note that we have worked with our housing group in ensuring that we are able to offer you some of the cheapest rates available. In most cases, the hotel rates we have been able to secure will be more affordable than booking on your own.

There are costs associated with running the event, regardless of weather e.g. facility, officials, staff, insurance, etc. Therefore, all parties are at risk when it comes to weather related issues.




How does the age cut off work?


The age cut off is based off birthyear. Whatever birthyear you were born in will be the division you will play in. For example, if you were born in 2009 you will play in our 10U division (10 years of age or under).




What is a Player ID card?


The integrity of our event is of the utmost importance. For this tournament, we will be using Zorts to verify all player's ages, through their Player ID program. Upon your required upload of your participant's birth certificate, report card, and picture, Zorts will verify and make eligible your player using a virtual player card.

For this tournament, the fee for procuring a Virtual Player Card has been waived and will be good for one year, for any flag football event that uses the Zorts platform.




What are your COVID protocols?


RC Experiences is working closely with the NFL to determine appropriate guidelines to keep our participants, spectators and staff safe. We will be considering CDC Guidelines along with state and local requirements to determine the COVID Guidelines for the NFL FLAG Bowl.

When finalized, we will post the guidelines for teams to understand the restrictions and rules they will be required to follow when at the event.
