Umstattd Hall is closer, bigger and features superior air conditioning.

The cradle of professional football is the home to "THE ROAD TO THE HALL" Summer Championships.

 

To be inducted into the hall you must show character, you must show leadership, you must know how to be a team player, and you must be a winner.  

 

If you thought our January National Championships was a smashing success, we are just getting started.

Monday, JULY 15TH @ 8:00pm (EST) - Divisions: 6U, 7U, 8U

Tuesday, JULY 16TH @ 8:00pm (EST) - Divisions: 9U. 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 17U, and ALL GIRLS DIVISIONS 

 

On this call, we will review the rules of the game, division structure, tournament events, and activities.

This is a 5 vs 5 format of play. All teams will compete in a three-game round robin format of play on Saturday. Based on performance results, all teams will advance to Championship Sunday. Teams will then compete on a single elimination playoff bracket to crown a Summer National Champion.

For example, all players competing in the 8U division MUST have been born in 2010 or after.

 

All player must have been 8 years of age or younger last year.   

 

This also means that they will be 9 sometime in this calendar year yet they can still compete in the 8U division.

FRIDAY - JULY 19TH

MEDIA DAY/ARRIVAL OF TEAMS: 8:30am - 2:30pm

Teams will arrive, check in at their scheduled time and proceed to Media Day.

Media Day will consist of four amazing stations including 

- A team photo with Championship Trophies

- Hall of Fame Interactive Station

- Team War Chant/Talent Video

- Team Press Conference 

- Sponsor Activation Stations

After teams complete this circuit, they will head to Tour The Hall. 

 

TOUR OF THE HALL OF FAME: 10:00am - 5:00pm

Players and coaches will receive a FREE entry (up to 12 per team) to tour the Hall of Fame.


 

New Location! - Teams will report to Umstattd Hall located on campus at the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the opening ceremony.

 

This will include an incredible introduction of the weekend's festivities.

 

This fantastic night will be followed by an amazing opening night presentation by a special Hall of Fame Gold Jacket member! You don't want to miss this!

POOL PLAY FORMAT OF PLAY
All teams will play three scheduled round-robin games. All teams will advance to single elimination Sunday. A few teams who are in odd divisions may have four games on tap.

BATTLE GAMES presented by Dick's Sporting Goods
Show up at  Field One for our BATTLE GAMES contests that will take place during our halftime show.
 
FASTEST PLAYER CONTEST 
So, you think you're fast? Let's find out. Players will run individually representing their current age to prove who the fastest player on turf really is. Winners will receive a $20 Dick's Sporting Goods Gift Card!
Due to the number of teams and limited time-space, as games are running through 8pm, the Ray Farmer presentation has been moved to the Championship Party EXCLUSIVELY for division championships. All teams will have a free evening on Saturday. 
 

SUNDAY - JULY 21ST

 

PLAYOFFS / VIP CHAMPIONSHIP PARTY

BRACKET PLAY & AWARDS
All teams will enter into a single elimination playoff bracket based on Saturday's results. 
 
Championship games will be recorded on Facebook Live. 
 
VIP CHAMPIONSHIP PARTY - 7:00pm - 9:00opm
All 19 National Champion Teams will be invited to attend our VIP CHAMPIONSHIP PARTY with former NFL player Ray Farmer! 
CHAMPIONSHIP PARTY WITH COACH RAY FARMER!

Ray Farmer is a former NFL linebacker who played with the Philadelphia Eagles. After his playing days, he was a scout for the Atlanta Falcons. He then moved to the director of pro personnel for the Kansas City Chiefs before finally landing the General Manager position for the Cleveland Browns. Ray is a dynamic speaker who for certain will have much to teach our next generation of leaders.

CBS Sports Network will host a one hour special on this epic event of the summer.
 
Featuring interviews, highlights, and results. 

 

PRO FOOTBALL

HALL OF FAME FIELDS

All games will be played at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

 

Join us at this beautiful location which provides us with 4 incredible TURF playing fields where we will turn into 16 flag football fields.

 

We are working to see if we can move our championships games to be played at Tom Benson Stadium (same location where the Hall of Fame Game is played).

HOUSING & HOTELS

This is a mandatory STAY TO PLAY event. Meaning that all teams traveling outside of a 75-mile radius MUST stay in one of our designated housing or hotel options. If teams choose to opt out, they may do so for a $600/per team fee.

 

This tournament is being hosted in conjunction with the County Convention and Vistors Bureau. 

 

This relationship allows us to offer you some of the incredible perks that go with this tournament.  However, in order to move forward with this agreement, we must comply.

COACH MIKE

WHO WAS MICHAEL S. MALIA? 
Often referred to as "Coach Mike", Michael S. Malia coached for National Flag Football from 2010 - until April 2nd, 2016 when he, unfortunately, passed away from a heart attack at the age of 43. Mike leaves behind Jennifer Malia and son Owen. Mike was one of the greatest souls to walk this earth. When Coach Mike would walk into a room of total strangers, he would work tirelessly to ensure that everybody was having a great time. Through his hilarious jokes and endless stories, he was sure to leave a positive impact on everybody that he encountered.
 
The NATIONAL FLAG FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS was created in his honor. Partial proceeds from this tour will be donated to the National Flag Football Association, a 501(c)(3) organization, which was formed to allow for children, no matter their financial situation to have the ability to play the game he loved so much. With this tour, we honor you coach! We miss you buddy.
